Philip A. H. Brooker

Research interests

My research interests are in the geometry of Banach spaces and the structure of Banach algebras of the form B(E) (the algebra of all bounded linear operators on a Banach space E). I am currently interested in the use of descriptive set theory in these areas, in particular ordinal indices of Banach spaces and operators.

I expect to graduate in 2009.

My supervisor is Rick Loy.
