Open-Source Software

Here are some links to software which is available (free, but with absolutely no warranty), in most cases as open-source software under the GNU General Public License. If you prefer to negotiate a different license, please contact the author.

Software for fast arithmetic in GF(2)[x] (multiplication, squaring, GCD),
and searching for irreducible/primitive trinomials (the package gf2x).
Uniform and normal random number generators including xorgens, ranut and rannw.
Old (mainly obsolete) programs related to searching for irreducible/primitive trinomials (the program irred).
A program for parallel sorting.
The (very old) multiple precision arithmetic package MP.

Some other software which I wrote a long time ago (e.g. for zero-finding and minimization) is available from Netlib (just search for Brent).
