• I will give an invited talk at the International Congress of Mathematicians in Beijing, August 2002.
• I will organise a special session at the 46th Annual Meeting of the Australian Mathematical Society in Newcastle, 2002.

• I was a member of the organising committee for the 45th annual meeting of the Australian Mathematical Society which was held at the Australian National University from September 22 to 26, 2001.
• I helped to organise a program in nonlinear partial differential equations at the Newton Institute in Cambridge. This was held from January until July, 2001.
• The 44th annual meeting of the Australian Mathematical Society was held from July 2-5, 2000 at the University of Queensland. I organised a special session on Partial Differential Equations and Differential Geometry.
• I attended the Joint Australia-Taiwan Workshop on Analysis and its Applications at the Academica Sinica Mathematics Institute in Taiwan, April 15-19, 2000.
• At the 43rd annual meeting of the Australian Mathematical Society at the University of Melbourne in 1999 I organised a special session on PDE, Differential Geometry and General Relativity with Klaus Ecker, Mike Eastwood and Robert Bartnik.
• In the week July 5-9, 1999, I organised with Klaus Ecker a CMA National Research Symposium on Differential Geometry and Geometric Analysis at the University of Melbourne.
• At the 42nd annual meeting of the Australian Mathematical Society at the University of Sydney I organised a special session on PDE.
• I was an organiser for the PDE98 conference at Mission Beach, Queensland, September 7-13, 1998.
• I organised a one-day workshop on PDE at Mount Stromlo, ACT, September 3, 1998.
