National Research Symposia in the Mathematical Sciences

The Centre for Mathematics and its Applications (CMA) sponsors a series of Research Symposia in the Mathematical Sciences, each one to last one week. The meetings are typically organised around visits to Australia of international leaders in mathematics and statistics, these visits being funded by other sources. Proposals will be assessed by the MSI Planning Committee.

Funding is available to support 20-30 people for 5 days generally at The Australian National University.  It is envisaged that travel for participants will be covered by funds from other sources.  In certain circumstances funding may be available for some travel expenses.
