| ANU National Merit Scholarship |
$6,500 |
To be eligible, you must be:
- an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humantarian visa, and
- studying an Australian Year 12 or New Zealand NCEA or International Baccalaureate in 2008, and
- intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree at the Australian National University.
Selection criteria
Awarded to eligible students who have achieved a UAI score between 99.50 and 99.89 (no bonus points) or equivalent.
Value
$6,500 per year as a contribution towards accommodation, tuition and other education expenses for a maximum of 4 years.
Number available in 2009
All eligible students that obtain a UAI score of 99.50 to 99.89 (no bonus points) or equivalent will be made an offer.
Retention
Recipients must maintain a minimum of a Credit grade average (65 per cent).
2009 Application
No application is required. All eligible applicants to ANU will be considered.
Deferral
This scholarship cannot be deferred. Applicants who defer their place, must re-apply for the scholarship in the following year.

$12,500 per year as a contribution towards accommodation, tuition and other education expenses for the duration of the chosen undergraduate program.

All eligible students that obtain a UAI score of 99.90 (no bonus points) or equivalent will be made an offer.
Retention
Recipients must maintain a minimum of a Distinction grade average (70 per cent).

- studying an Australian Year 12 or New Zealand NCEA or International Baccalaureate in 2008, and
- intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree at the Australian National University, and
living in or attending school in one of the following areas: Highlands; South-Coast; Wollongong; Yass, Goulburn and Queanbeyan; South-West and Western Slopes and Plains.
If your home and school postcodes fall within the following postcode groups, you are eligible to apply: 2500 - 2554; 2568 - 2599; 2619 - 2633; 2640 - 2681; 2700 - 2731; 2790 - 2820; 2830 - 2830; 2845 - 2850; 2864 - 2871; 2875 - 2877
Selection criteria
Awarded to eligible students who have achieved a UAI score of 90.00 and above (no bonus points) and can demonstrate involvement and leadership in school and/or community activities.

$6,500 per year as a contribution towards accommodation, tuition and other education expenses for a maximum of 4 years.

| Bachelor of Philosophy Scholarship |

There will be a small number of scholarships of $5000 per year available for award to students who are successful in gaining admission to the Bachelor of Philosophy degree program.
Requirements: Awarded automatically to highest ranking students accepted into the Bachelor of Philosophy Program.

| Bobbie Fenner Accommodation Scholarships |
50% Rent |
Four Bobbie Fenner Accommodation Scholarships at Fenner Hall, a college of the ANU, are available to students accepted into the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours), PhB, program.
Requirements: Offered to students accepted into the Bachelor of Philosophy (Science) program at ANU, and accepted into residence at Fenner Hall.
