Abstracts of Talks

Abstract: The National Research Symposium ``Algebraic and Analytical Methods of Lie Theory'' was held at the Australian National University from 1 to 5 December, 1997. The scope of the conference was the theory of Lie groups and Lie algebras in the broadest possible sense. The conference is one of a series of ``Oberwolfach-style'' workshops organised under the umbrella of the Centre for Mathematics and Its Applications. This Research Report contains the abstracts of the talks given at the Conference.
