Variational solutions to Hessian equations

Abstract:
In this paper we deal with the functionals related
to Hessian equations.
By studying the asymptotical behaviour of solutions
to a gradient flow of the functionals
we will derive the existence of critical points of the functionals
which corresponds to solutions of the Hessian equations.
To do so we will use the Mountain Pass Lemma and establish the
interior a priori estimate for solutions of the Hessian equations.
The results parallel those for semilinear elliptic equtaions
and Monge-Ampère equations.
