Heat flow for Yang Mills Higgs fields

Abstract
The heat flow for the Yang-Mills-Higgs field generalizes the Yang-Mills
flow. We establish the existence and uniqueness of global weak solution
to the heat flow for the Yang-Mills-Higgs field in a vector bundle over a
compact Riemannian 4-manifold. We show that the weak solution is
gauge-equivalent to a smooth solution away from a finite set of
singularities and discuss the solution's behavior around such
singularities.
