Fast Algorithms For High Order Spline Collocation Systems

Abstract:
In this paper, we present an eigenvalue analysis for
high-order spline collocation methods. Based on this
analysis, we develop ADI and
FFT algorithms for solving a class of
high-order spline collocation systems which arise from discretizing
elliptic PDEs. The convergence of algorithms is analyzed.
