Maximum Principles For Difference Operators
Hung-Ju Kuo and Neil S. Trudinger
Abstract:
This paper concerns analogues of the maximum principles of Aleksandrov,
Bakelman and
Pucci for difference operators on arbitrary discrete sets in Euclidean
space. The
maximum principle is more general than in our previous work and its
applications to
Harnack and Liouville theorem is also discussed.
