L2 Estimates For Approximations To Minimal
Surfaces

Abstract:
In a previous paper the authors developed a new algorithm for finding
discrete approximations
to (possibly unstable) disc-like minimal surfaces. Optimal convergence
rates in the H1
norm were obtained. Here we recall the key ideas and prove optimal
L2
convergence rates.
