On theorems by C.Jordan and K.Kuratowski

The Jordan Curve Theorem and Kuratowski's theorem on nonplanar graphs are both important and nice. It seems, however, that many mathematicians have never seen a proof of either of them. In the talk I will present proofs which only use what is common knowledge among mathematicians.
