8th Pacific Rim Geometry Conference

11-15 December 2006

Murramarang Resort, South Durras, NSW, Australia

Organised by: Centre for Mathematics and its Applications, The Australian National University

About the conference

The 8th Pacific Rim Geometry Conference will be held at the Murramarang Resort in the week December 11-15, 2006. The Pacific Rim Geometry Conference has been held every two years since 1992, with previous meetings occurring at Shanghai (2004), Hong Kong (2002), Sendai (2000), Vancouver (1998), Seoul (1996), Singapore (1994), and Hong Kong (1992). The main purpose of the conference is to bring together researchers from Pacific Rim countries that are interested in areas related to geometry. The conference serves as a means to disseminate the most recent research developments and to cultivate working relationships among its participants.

The Murramarang Resort is located on the south coast of New South Wales, about two hours' drive from Canberra.

Support for this conference has been provided by the Centre for Mathematics and its Applications and the Mathematical Sciences Institute of The Australian National University, and by the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute.

Please contact the organisers if you would like to reserve seats on this bus.
There is also a regular bus service that goes past Sydney International Airport via South Durras but the service won't go directly to Murramarang. The web address for the timetable below. If you are planning on using this bus service please let us know and we can arrange for someone to collect you from either Bateman's Bay or South Durras.
