Accommodation

Canberra has a strong tourism industry so it is not short of accommodation. The only constraint is transportation. We have made block bookings with a number of hotels near the campus. These hotels are listed below and we ask that you contact them directly to make a booking. Additional hotel, apartment, bed and breakfast, caravan or backpacker accommodation can be found at the Canberra Tourism website. The Canberra Tourism website currently lists residential and college accommodation at the Australian National University, unfortunately the colleges will stop offering accommodation to the public in 2008.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PEOPLE TRAVELLING FROM OVERSEAS: The Pope will visit Sydney for World Youth Day, 15-20 July 2008. Consequently we advise that you either fly into Australia via Melbourne or book your flights as early as possible.
