Celebrating Sue Wilson's 34 years at ANU
A celebration of Professor Sue Wilson's 34 years at ANU will be held on Thursday
11th December 2008 at the ANU. The celebration will involve a day of talks on topics
related to Sue's interests and a dinner in the evening.
The program of talks is under development: at this stage, the speakers include
Professor Terry Speed, Professor Geoff McLachlan, Professor Patty Solomon, Dr Michael Adena,
Dr Conrad Burden and Dr Yvonne Pittelkow. Other contributions to the program are very welcome.
A small number of short, contributed talks of up to 30 minutes will be considered.
The intention is to arrange the program so that talks on Bioinformatics will be grouped in
the afternoon to enable people interested only in Bioinformatic talks to attend part of the
celebration.
Pre-dinner drinks and dinner will be held in "The Gods Cafe" at ANU from 6:00pm and
the cost will be between $40.00-$50.00 per head. More details on this soon.
