We have a number of social events at BioInfoSummer, which we hope you will join in. Come along and meet the other participants.

Tuesday 11th December

We welcome participants on Tuesday 11th December, with the poster session. Scholarship cheques will be presented during this time.

Wednesday 12th December

Public Lecture: The human genome, more complex than we imagined

Speaker: John Mattick
Venue: Manning Clark Lecture Theatre, ANU
Time: 6.00pm - 7.00pm

Professor John Mattick from the University of Queensland presents recent advances and discoveries in the understanding of the human genome. Open to all registrants, and to the general public.

Conference Dinner at The Gods, ($32 for registrants)

Venue:The Gods cafe, ANU Arts Centre
Time: 7.15pm

To round off the evening, a two-course banquet dinner will be held at a popular campus cafe,The Gods. This follows the public lecture, and is only 5 minutes walk from the lecture hall. This must be paid in advance - it is NOT possible to join on the day.
