Topics
The symposium will cover four broad topics:

- Comparative Genomics
- Regulatory Networks
- Analysis of Gene Expression
Each topic will be presented in a number of formats:
- Background lectures: The morning
session of each day will be devoted to background lectures, which will
target students but also be applicable to academics moving into
bioinformatics, and those who wish to learn about other areas of

who do not require these lectures.
- Keynote speakers: The first and
last talk of each afternoon will be a keynote speaker
- Specialist talks: The time
in each afternoon between the keynote talks will be a time for
specialist talks
