Theme: Sequence, Structure, Evolution and Networks

BioInfoSummer is aimed at a number of different groups, from students and academics moving into bioinformatics to experienced bioinformaticians. Accordingly it will feature the following:

  • Introductory Lectures on Biology and Bioinformatics
  • International Keynote Speakers
  • Specialist talks on all areas of bioinformatics
  • Workshops

Travel scholarships

Travel scholarships will be available for Honours and PhD students not currently residing in the ACT, thanks to ICE-EM . Some funds may also be available for early-career researchers such as Postdoctoral Fellows. Announcements of application methods and dates will be made on the mailing list.

Prizes

The Centre for Bioinformation Science is pleased to announce that the Hilary Booth Prizes will be awarded for the best student and postdoctoral talks.
