Some identifications of a supercritical multi-type branching process

Abstract
We give a global and asymptotic identification of the parameter (mean, variance) for the offspring law of a supercritical Bienayme-Galton-Watson process. Our strategy is based on the comparison of some estimators of the mean and the variance using martingale tools. A generalization of our results to the supercritical multi-type branching process is also given.
